Miss Chattanooga Christine Williamson Wins Miss Tennessee Swimsuit Preliminary

Thursday, June 21, 2018 - by Wendy King

Christine Williamson has finished in the top five at Miss Tennessee Pageant four times but the current Miss Chattanooga had never won a preliminary award until Wednesday night when she took top honors in the Lifestyle and Fitness category in the first round of preliminaries in Jackson.

The UT-Chattanooga College of Business graduate student wore a neon orange bikini in becoming one of the final three swimsuit winners at the state pageant since the Miss America Organization is discontinuing the category effective in September. She is the third consecutive Miss Chattanooga to win a preliminary at the state level.

The Memphis native was last year’s first runner-up and will compete in two more rounds of preliminaries before Saturday’s finals.

The pageant is being streamed online at www.eplustv6.com from 9:00-11:30 p.m.
